Frog Morton...

Today I finally got the nerve up and ordered the Frog Morton sampler pack. 50g of all four Frog Mortons variety.
Now i feel like a dang kid waiting for christmas rofl. Be my luck ill be all antzy till i get the baccy and then not like it at all rofl.
Any of you fellas smoke any of the frogs?

I too have purchased my first Frog morton (100g) last Saturday and should be getting it in the mail this Monday. Hey Igloo since this is a English Blend how does Frog morton match up with Penzance?

There was a small bit of Frog Morton and Frog on the Bayou in the box pass. First time I had ever tried it. I Liked both kinds.

All very nice, but me personally, I wouldn't 'really' call it/them English, & the original is considered a Balkan. I consider tham all an aro w/a bit of Lat weed. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

All the Frog Morton's are good English blends. I especially like Across the Pond; just a nice Syrian.

Bubba, in case you haven't tried it, McClelland's bulk 5110 is very similar to Frog Morton on the Town. But yeah, the regular in bulk would be very nice.

I have to admit, someone here on the forums sent me just a little bit of each FM and I loved FMOTT. Out of all of them, that was my fav and the only one I would pay money for. That being said 5110 is something I put on my long list of things to try :D

I'm not much of an english fan, I guess. Only tried the first 2 Froggies when they came out. Ho hum. Most englishes taste the same to me EXCEPT for Penzance, which I easily choose over all the rest. It's like eating a piece of steak instead of drinking boullion.

Waiting sucks. Necessary evil though my friend.
I've smoked a few tins of the Frog, excellent blend. Gonna pick up some more when I get back to the states.
It's an English but not a heavy one. I find it pretty smooth but still has that campfire aroma that I enjoy so much with just a hint of a tickle from the lat.
The wait will be worth it - Enjoy the smoke!

I've only tried FMOTB and have liked it a lot. McClelland 3 oaks Syrian is still my best english to date. I have a tin of the original FM and am looking forward to trying.
