Did Dr Grabow pipes ever come in their own box?

Mine was a rather nice cardboard covered in something like a textured wallpaper - vinyl maybe?

Not sure if they ever used wooden boxes. That’s all the information I can provide for you. Hope it helps!

I've never seen a box for a Grabow - very nice!

I just thought you would walk into the store and pull one off the display.

One of my pipes I got by sending in a box top from Lane Limited I want to say? I can’t be sure. But I do remember mailing away for a free pipe offer. Wish I could recall more. Probably one of the four Grabows that I own. I remember it came mailed within a white, cardboard box. That’s was neat.
