I like the idea of the bar as it implies a political bent to the painting, and gives reason for the look in her eyes.
I would even go so far as to actually leave the tape on, rather than painting the bar. It's a wonderful reading of contemporary views of nudity, and most importantly, women.
On the other hand, if you are more just wishing to convey this woman apropos of nothing, I would lose the black bar, or at least incorporate the cubism angle more, like you did with the red patch on her stomach.
