"FOG" Pipe

Hello there, just posting a recent pipe I've acquired. This is a real special one, was developed around the 1920's, judging by the reference in the Annuaire du commerce Didot-Bottin, from 1925:

this thing smokes brilliantly! As far as I can see, it's a real rare piece, at least I couldn't find another like it..


What's your thoughts on it?
I'll be searching for another for sure!

and it's the preferred of the Medical Corps :D
I particularly like the fact that we can pack it more compact

Nice looking pipe.

The late 20’s and throughout the 30’s turned into an arms race of Stingers, Dry Pipes, Attachments and Gizmos to make smoking a pipe “easier”.

Hell, Dr. Grabow pipes were even “pre-smoked”

It always amazes me what turns up from that era.

I believe 'bien être' translates to 'well-being' or 'happiness.' In this case it seems to mean "100% satisfaction."

Cool!! I love those old gimmicks. I love how the percentages are dead on. Even numbers all around...Try that nowadays, a lawyer will take your shoes, all legit. The good old times They used numbers....it must be true.

yes, the numbers are all correct! impressive indeed! I love it, pretty good condition also. I hope nickel isn't that bad in the long run:>

FOG - French acronym for "Fantastique, Originale, Grand" Bonne chance!

Looks in excellent shape= a real find! And the nickel insert should outlast all of us.
