Guys ... I must confess I have been doing this wrong from the get go ... I tried a navy flake for the first time using fold and stuff, on a dagner cob. Now dagner cob is a great pipe, but it seems to me that it isn't working too well with flake. I tried it in a briar, nameless half bent billiard, and it's a totally different story. Now I have also experienced that if you rub the rolled flake a bit before stuffing, it packs better. Jay's idea with fine cut cube sounds very interesting, and it makes sense. I shall give it a try. For me ... the cigar cutter seems to work well for cutting flake strips to cube. However, I cannot argue with papipeguy, his tools are legendary.

Your mom\\\'s house
Uncle Yoda has the idea. If you crazy bastards are using cheese graters, may as well jump right up to a salad shooter. If you are hacking away with your knife, it is time to buy a new one and learn how to keep it sharp in the future.
I guess, since I live in the same town as the world headquarters of Presto Industries, I instantly wonder if their products will help me in my daily life.

"It should just cut through the flake[plug] like butter."
Just wait until your Mick McQuaid Plug arrives Michael, you might change your tune then. That stuff is as solid as granite!
Regards,
Jay.

This cheese grater may not be as crazy an idea as I thought. Look at this lighter that appears to come with a grater for your tobacco!
