What is your first pipe to come in 2020?

Mine arrived yesterday.
Moonshine Light Smooth Devil Anse.

14514

Checked all the boxes. I wanted:
  • a smaller pipe;
  • devil anse shape;
  • a U.S.-made pipe;
  • with a nice colored acrylic stem.
Bonuses (given my recent country music zeal):
  • made in Nashville, TN;
  • the brand is called "Moonshine" (Appalachia all the way!)
Smoked a bowl of Amphora Original upon the pipe's arrival (tasty burley, changed A LOT since last time I smoked it back in 2001).
It was rather freezing outside (around 28F) and windy, so I had to find a sunny spot (hence the warped colors):

It smokes perfect. I'm a happy camper :)

I'm in the market for a straight billiard. I've never owned one and dedcided that the time has come for me to try one out. I'd like to keep it under $200 and plan to dedicate it to Va/Per or straight Virginia blends. Anyone have a favorite that they can suggest?

That’s a really nice pipe. I really like how the grain on the shank seems to continue in the stem.

I’ve got my eye on a Moonshine pipe as well, but current exchange rate from USD to Australian dollars is putting a bit of a damper on it. You can add about 40% to the price in USD for the price in AUD... ?

The Canadian $ vs the American one isn't as bad, but at $1.30 CAD the rate still sux. Most of the leather and many of the supplies I buy come from the US, so I have been feeling the brunt of it heavily. The pipe I had my eye on was $175 USD—ouch!
