I posted last week of this Comoy Everyman, Barlings and Captain Browne I found at my local shop for cheap. I finally got some time to clean them up. I would not call it a full restore, just a good cleaning and fixing issues.

I gave them all a good reeming and got the lava off the rim. A little scorching on the rims but I didn’t want to top them. I dont mind a little wear on things.

i cleaned them with Murpheys Oil soap. The Capt Browne had a flaking finish so got some 600-2000 grit sand paper to get it off and polish it up.

The stems were badly oxidized so went in some oxi-clean and my ultrasonic cleaner. I buffed them out with 1000,1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper.

i buffed them all out on my buffing wheel and some white polishing compoundand then waxed them all up.

I am pleased how well they cleaned up.
