voorhees asked: "Dave, its Bull Street Cigar in LaGrange. On a side note he mentioned he had a pipe rep come in for Fe-Ro(Fero) pipes. Wanted my opinion. I did a bit of research and they are just above entry level Dr. Grabows/Medicos. Anyone here have an opinion?"
I've run across these in West Coast shops. The first one I got was at The Tobacco Barn in Orange Ct, CA. Since Fe-Ro also has olivewoods, I got one at Mission Pipe Shop in San Jose. The last was a briar in the Edward's in the Bay Area. All of these puff well and they are nicely sized - I'm not a fan of the typical monsters that Italian makes create to show off their fine briar. These are price pointed where Lucianos used to be. I like their styles and shapes.

I love fe.ro pipes they are cheap and good quality for their price. I own two of them and they have never let me down once.

I don't know these pipes. Seems at the price, one or two would be good. See how they do.

Have two Fe-Ro's, a billiard and a bulldog. Both of them smoke great and for the $ 40-50 price range they are a good bargain. I have only had these for a few months so time will tell if they hold up under use.

I was told that Fe.ro used to make the Savinelli Specialty Series pipes for Savinelli (duca carlo, baronet bruyere, etc.) but never confirmed that.
They look like a good price for the quality.

I have one and it's one of my favorites. Actually filled it twice today and no issues, love the wide bit.

I'm torn between getting my first higher quality pipe. I'll soon have enough money to get a pipe that didn't come from a basket or a drug store shelf. Fe-Ro is in my price range but I'm not sure if I should save a little longer and get a Savinelli. Savinelli pipes I've seen being only a little more expensive. I've herd more about Savinelli but from what little I found about Fe-Ro they aren't bad just not as popular. Open to any helpful suggestions Thank you
