I finally got my order Peretti's of Tashkent and Oriental #40... Just perfect. EXACTLY what i was looking for.

just realized I've already posted in this thread - Campanile and Soraya.

Another HU blend, a VaOr, is Flanagan flake. Very nice.
HU Joschis Oriental Sunrise has a good amount of Samsun and is a terrific blend to scratch my buttery oriental itch.

Oriental blends appear to be my favorites, with or without Latakia depending on mood.
I find myself trying blends with those components more and more.


I second Regents Flake and Sunday Picnic as two to try. I will say when I opened each of those tins, the taste in that first smoke was unpleasant. I jarred them both and waited. A month for the Sunday Picnic, maybe 3 on the Regents.


Once I went back to try them each, I enjoyed them so much I smoked nothing but them daily until they were gone.

Another Peretti Tashkent fan here! I am pretty sensitive to nicotine, and I never have a problem with Tashkent. And, it's delicious!
