Famous Motorcycle Bars

California is renown for its famous motorcycle bars and joints. From The Rock Store, The Rock Inn, Cooks Corner, Hells Kitchen, and Josie's Hideout and more, there are so many great places to ride to and hangout. However, when in Missouri, I ride to Cruise Inn and Throttle Down outside of Kimberling. I was just there again last week when I was visiting my dad. A classic dive bar where the drinks are cheap and the pizza delicious, the bar overlooks Table Rock Lake. It is situated high above the lake and is a classic eccentric place filled with locals and bikers who either stop for a drink or are staying at the Inn. It is very centrally located, just over the Arkansas line near Eureka Springs and some of the best motorcycle riding in the Ozarks and Boston Mountains. If you ride a bike, what are some of your favorite joints?

I used to frequent The Scrambled Dog in Raleigh, The Little Bar in Pittsboro and Plan B in Smithfield.

In my biker days I shunned groups and simply preferred to cruise the highways and byways, avoiding rabbit and moose of course. Hitting them can seriously shorten your ride. But, noisy crowds and drunks were never my goal.

As I've stated previously I'm asocial. Sadly, I simply can't find better company than myself.

I will add, that's a gorgeous location for a pub.

Wow, that is an amazing view.

…Nothing oike that were I grew up in Dayton, Oh. However, there’s a hell of a biker bar in that neck of the woods called Jackass Flats (now RipRap Roadhouse).

Once rented roadglide on a work trip from Buddy Stubbs in Phoenix and had a blast around Az. Hit a cool bar called The Hideaway in Cave City. Loved that trip…
