Falcon Fans?

Anybody a fan of Falcon pipes? Been seeing these here and there and I’m intrigued. What say you?

I owned three but got rid of them. They were just not for me. However, others seem to really enjoy them. The good thing is they are not an expensive investment. Pick one up and see what you think.

Yes, I think that's why we have threads here talking about how much we like Falcon pipes.

For the longest time I couldn’t get past the looks. Some of them look like electrical conduit, and the twisted ones kind of look like they came out of a H. R. Giger drawing. But I’ve gotten past that enough that I’d probably give them a whirl now. I have seen some members’ photos in the WAYS thread with meerschaum bowls that I quite liked, and the corn cob bowls are pretty cool too.

I have two stems and two meer bowls. I got it so I could try out a meer without spending a lot of money. I also like the idea of a removable bowl for some reason.

I currently have 3 Falcon stems and hope to get another one at some point ( The Shillelagh stem) . I have 5 bowls, 2 Meerschaum and 3 briar . I like all of them. They all smoke well, are easy to clean and it's great to swap out a bowl and keep smoking . They are very durable and not overly expensive. Below are pictures of the two Meerschaum bowls.

I've had three and thrown away three. The contents of my skull just couldn't adapt to the steampunkery style. They smoke OK though. Tried to ebay 'em as a group. Amazing lack of interest. One of mine:

I have 20 bowls and 10 stems. I guess you could say I'm a Falcon fan. You can't go wrong with a Falcon. I highly recommend them for their smoking quality and durability.

CoffeeAndBourbon, I just saw a listing for a Shillelagh stem with the chrome finish and white bit (new) on eBay. Sold from Estonia.

Sort of like Lakeland blends. I haven't warm up to Falcon pipes, yet.
