Try GL Pease Quiet Nights. Personally, I find it to be an amazing blend. At that price it's a very cheap exploration trip, if disliked no biggie if liked open the skies!

McConnell’s Latakia Flake. It’s not an “English” by any stretch, has very little Latakia, the name is misleading but it’s an amazing blend. Also in the same style is , Sillem’s Commodore Flake. These two are pretty strong in nicotine too.

I know that it's hard to find current production and that it's expensive on the secondary market, but Penzance is excellent.
SG Balkan Flake and Navy Flake, and HH Balkan Flake are all blends I enjoy having on hand.
