Judging from what I read on these 'pages', not many of you 'suffer' from tobacco anxiety. Anxiety is something with which I've had a lifelong 'love' affair. It's what keeps me on my toes. Keeps me looking out. It's not paranoia I'm talking about, it's a nagging sense of dread or discomfort that prompts me to action, good or bad.

So, I've been trying to smoke the tobacco I have on hand, and I've been very successful. I rotated from tub to tub, jar to jar, and tin to tin till I suddenly realized that I need to re-supply with SOMETHING!?

What I love about pipes and pipe tobacco is the variety of excellent experiences. I can't believe it took me so long to discover this pursuit. I was reflecting on how it was in part due to the high taxes placed on cigarettes that finally caught up with my roll y'er own work around, that caused me to experiment, once more after 40 yrs., with a pipe.

I just got in some new tobaccos!, and I'm thrilled with their reality. I've already tasted them and I'm a happy camper for the time being.

FYI: I got: Newminster Superior Navy Slices, MidTown Chatham, and BOR. Even the BOR is wonderful, and is it ever

affordable!

Headline easily fixed? Not so much. I misspelled depression.

Good to hear you are pleased with your TAD and currently tobacco anxiety free.

And for the record I didn't even notice the spelling error until you pointed it out!! lol

Hey NB ... I know you've smoked a fair amount of the "codgers" now. :puffy:
What's your opinion on the MidTown Chatham so far?
Also ... any Latakia in the mix right now?

I have twenty plus choice tins waiting in the wings, so I don't feel like hoarding pounds of tobacco, though history could come back to bite me. Will I ever smoke up, or even open, that tub of Half and Half, or should I donate it to the pipe-smoking Seal team? I'm down to the the last quarter of a tub of Granger. I have six or eight samples from Forums members safely jarred ...though I keep opening and packing from the jars. I'm glad I haven't stored so much I can't lay in a tin or two from the pipe show in a week, maybe Old Dark Fired and Bold Kentucky. Or Jackknife. Right now, I have plenty.

cobguy,

The Chatham is a very nice smoke. I haven't had much experience with it, but already I know it will always be welcome.

My latakia is currently on the limited side. I have some ultimate that I mix up with various other blends to tide me over till I obtain more 'perfected' blends. I took my last tin of a Lat blend when I visited my brother and gave it to him. WhiteKnight, too! I hope he likes it. I did.

I will be looking for good buys on tasty bulk Lats very soon.

If another 5 tins for 29.99 deal comes up, I'll get some for sure then, too.
