Dunhill, Ugly Fake? Proper Stamping but Unusual Grain.

It's a heavy blast, and the grain is what it was endowed with, and better than a lot of others I have seen.
I may be in the minority, but I can't abide the rustication on Sasienis. I have no love for their fishtail stems either.
What one finds attractive or ugly are highly personal ?

Looks passable to me. Some of those older ones are pretty craggy.

Good eye. They assumed it was an aesthetic feature of the sandblast.

I don’t care what people sell. But I don’t want members buying something posted here that they aren’t aware of from a tricky ad.

I have a cherished birth-year Dunhill with a repaired shank. I bought it that way.

The cracked shank would be a deal breaker for me. The blast however, is EXACTLY what folks are looking for with old Dunhill Shells!

Nah, aesthetics and preferences are subjective to the individual. I like a good ring blast though.
