This is my first Root Briar Dunhill, found in a favorite shape and stem profile.
Full restoration details are on the Reborn Pipes blog, but this one didn't need much work.

Very nice Root! Was just smoking my trusty '79 08 Root. Mine is a bit chunkier. Very comfortable to clench.

The seller also has a '69 120 Root that ended at the same time. It was in slightly worse condition, but my buddy snagged that one for $19....

Extraordinary!! Absolutely LOVE the pipe as well! Love the grain all the way around but especially the birdseye-swirls on the bottom! I have to GOT TO LEARN how to navigate places where beauty's such as these pop up at $19!! I would love to have a Dunhill someday just because!

Fantastic clean up and pipe Al. You made mention of the tube and how clean the shank was. I can attest to this as well. I picked up a 27 Shell a while back and the previous owner used the inner tubes. Little cleaning was required in the shank. I still use it with the tube and don't notice a difference.

Great looking pipe and very nice job on the restoration, as always.
Cheers,
