Gents,

Just acquired this pipe for free and I may have gotten my money's worth? Very, very faint stamping. It's hard to see, but "Dunhill" over what appears to be a faint "Bruyere". A stem that has no dot. It's nearly 5 1/4" long. I would be grateful to get your informed opinions about this pipe. Is it legit? If so, dating? Thanks in advance...92119212

Yep, Craig got it! 1971 Group 2 with a replacement stem. Won’t be a visual showstopper, but if you like, then what’s not to like? Very cool!

Currently smoking my Group 3 Shell Briar I got this summer. I agree that they are worth it, and I am now a fan. The ease of smoking, the finesse, that stamp that says it’s made in England, and the stunning beauty of the sandblast and stem all make it worth it.
