Tastes like potatoes.

But really, I THINK I observe it staying lit a little better, and I THINK I kind of rely on it to pack down by itself when I am packing/tamping my pipe, but really I mostly just happen to enjoy the specific pipe I have that is a dublin, (and the many billiards too).

Scrap all that, I am going to have to say in all honesty I cant tell the difference. They look nice though.

They seem to burn tobacco efficiently and completely. However, in my experience, they are less tolerant of wet tobacco.

Chamber shape has never affected flavor of smoke profile for me.

I smoke mostly loose tobacco, but from smoking some flake/coin/plug/rope, I think conical bowls like Dublins may be especially good for those. Cylindrical bowls do just fine, but conical seem especially compatible.
