Hi,

I managed to grab this Dr Plumb Peacemaker - which I understand are rare, at least here in the UK. It comes up really clean apart from the stem that looked like a dog had been playing with it (slight exaggeration!). I have gone through the usual procedure, cleaning, Mr Clean, grading micro-mesh and got rid of the chatter marks, but now It's pretty dull and feels 'matte like' in my mouth.

Is there a way I can bring this as close to its original shiny self?

Have you tried Obsidian Oil ?
I usually apply and leave overnight.
Wipe off excess with tissue then buff with the 3 finest grades of MicroMesh pads

Not quite "original shine" but usually good enough for me 😉
