I’ve decided to start my restoration experience with the little Green pipe because I like it. I won it on eBay so I don’t know the guy who smoked it before. Deep cleaning and restoration ahead. I welcome any advice.

While the 30 minutes passed I did a little on the bowl and stummel. I started reaming the bowl, but not much came out. Either I was doing it wrong or it didn’t need much. Its my first time to do that. 15045

I tried just using my finger with a paper towel wrapped around it and then just the paper towel.

I can’t find a lot of info on these, but I did find a couple of references.

I found my pipe cleaners. After a bunch of bristled and soft cleaners things started looking cleaner. Salt bath time.

The clock is still running on the stem in an Oxy bath at 1 hour 44 min.

Use a very light hand with the micromesh, working your way up to 12000 (or whatever that pink one is). Pay extra attention to where the stem meets the stummel, no reason to wear it down there and disrupt the lines of the pipe.

Once that is done, I usually do an application of Plast-X polish, followed by 2 or 3 applications of mineral oil. Then a final coat of carnauba wax.
