About to open this tin of 2021 Sun Bear Black Locust. It’s aged a few years, the tin is bulging a bit, and I’m hoping for a sweet smoke! But I’m wondering if I need to jar this right away, or if maybe there’s no rush if it needs to dry out a little anyway. What’s your experience with Sun Bear as far as dryness after aging a few years. I bought some of the Tupolo Sun Bear when it came out, and smoked a bowl right away. I don’t remember how it was since it was so long ago. Now you have me wanting to try some more. I’ll have to dig around in my cellar to find it.
