Depending on which inept, fear-mongering weather forecaster (who will get paid whether they are right or wrong) you listen to, my little corner of SE Louisiana will get either 3 to 6-inches or 4 to 8-inches. Having spent 12 years stationed in places where snow is common, it doesn't bother me. It also made me smart enough to know to go shopping before the snow hits and to stay home as much as possible.

I know how to drive in snow. And I know the majority of south Louisiana can't drive safely when the sun is shining.

I can drive in it just fine, but I won't be leaving my house at all Tuesday or Wednesday.

They say that the last time yall got snow like that was in the 1890s.

Perfect thread for me to post a pic. You can’t really brag most day about 3 inches. But this is central Houston. This is also one of those every 10 year snows. It will shut the city down for 2 days. I just shoveled my walkway - first time in my life.
