Do the Savinelli Dry System pipes have a Peterson P-Lip type bit that routes the smoke to the top of your mouth?
Or does it just look like a P-Lip but act like a fishtail, sending smoke to your tongue?
Some descriptions say, "The stems also feature rounded buttons that spread the smoke across the palate"

Almost, but not quite. Peterson's P-Lip stems have a round hole along the top of the button and Savinelli's Dry System pipe feature a slot along the top of the button. Whether or not they perform the same or accomplish the same goal is left up to the individual.

I have several with wide lip draft button hole, easy on the draw, flat stem more comfort. The balsa filter moisture trap works well for me. Balsa wood is stocked in many craft stores so you can make your own. The Sav. Filters cost a lot more and be difficult to find.
