Thinking of doing a deep clean on my Kiribati Takara. Sort of want to try disassembling, cleaning, putting back together. How difficult? Good idea, bad idea, anyone with experience?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

If I were you, I wouldn’t go too deep. If you had to send it out for repairs afterwards, it will set you back $50 minimum plus shipping. If it’s functioning, leave well enough alone (IMHO).

No experience with disassembly, but perhaps there are videos that'd be very useful.

Good luck! Take pix!
There’s one video I saw of a Kiribi kabuto being taken apart. It’s fairly detailed. thinking about what Gamz, said, I may just do the basics. Lose any little parts or bend them and you’re in trouble.
