Well, if you did then I did, too. I would suspect they just got discontinued.
This is the first instance I know of a blend being discontinued, so I guess, here we go. I have a few years of tobacco on hand, at my rate of use, so I guess I'll just see what happens, and order what is available from time to time. It would be good if this weren't simultaneous with public health and other situations. When it rains, it pours, to borrow from Morton Salt. Eventually will we all hunker down with Carter Hall? A tub or two of an OTC might be in order. After my wife's Christmas iPad, the annual property tax, and a replacement of the fifteen year old washing machine. I'm visualizing my weekend bowl.

Someone likely decided not to carry these blends anymore, then told whoever would be responding to customers to blame it n the FDA. Or it might just be that sometime in the future, perhaps even starting now, that a decision has been made to discontinue these blends, perhaps due to the FDA, perhaps for other reasons that smokers will never be privy to.

I do not stray to far from the OTC codger blends but i bought a few ounces of BS 759 and it is a nice change of pace that I occasionally enjoy
Whiteknight I could never get into but Blackhouse is some tasty stuff.
Just exchanged notes with Russ. Both blends are 100% still being produced.
There's still plenty of each at 4 Noggins, no apparent tin limit.
I'd be surprised if Blackhouse disappeared. It's one of Russ O's best known blends.
Another artificial rumour to boost sales. Just like a year ago someone said no new blends due to regulations and there have been dozens of new blends since then.
BH was the blend that won the contest to replicate BS759, so they should be at least close.
