That's a good looking pipe. The straight "pot" type style gets a lot of hate and accusations of being a boring shape, but I have two that are among my favorite pipes. I suppose yours (and mine too) might be more accurately described as an "apple" or "acorn" shape, but they are plain and attractive nonetheless.

I think I've seen other shapes with that name on it. There's a Hurlingham Club in London, sort of a family style country club minus a golf course.

 
Thank you JPMC! I am learning about these things from pipedia and from knowledgeable pipers like you. A lot of pipe knowledge is tacit, or buried deep in printed materials from years ago.
It will be some time when I will be able to smoke this. I am sure it will be a great smoker.
