Ok, I dug out this old BBB OwnMake Thorneycroft that I've had for a few years that was dirty and had a very small crack in the shank. Due to my worsening arthritis in my hands I haven't worked on pipes in a couple of years, but I felt the urge to try and do something with this pipe because of the wonderful sandblast on it. Not the best repair and clean up, but it looks a lot better and the tiny crack was an easy fix so it's good to smoke. I haven't seen a deep sandblast like this since I had a patent era Dunhill Shell. I have no idea how old this pipe is, but I really like the little thing. Sorry the pics aren't better, but you get the idea.
