Seems to be in decent shape too! It’s nice knowing it is that old, thanks.Ken trained at Charatan, where his father was the general manager. He then went on to found James Upshall pipes with Barry Jones and his father. This section provides a lot of otherwise unavailable information about both brands of pipes.
Without a date stamp, or hallmark, it's difficult to lock down a pipe to a specific year. At least you know that it's a 50's era pipe, so that's something. The Lane stamp narrows that down a bit, so likely between 1955 and 1958.
