W. Curtis Draper Tobacconists, I haven't been to the new location but the old one had a nice selection of bulk and tinned tobaccos not to mention a nice selection of pipes. Their phone number is 202-638-2555 or 800-572-2382. They can tell you how to get to them from wherever you are in DC. Hope this helps :puffy:

Georgetown Tobacco, M Street, say hi to Walter, an institution in that town (the store, not Walter)
Also, John B. Hayes is the bomb if you have a vehicle. They're in Vienna

Where in Vienna is the John B. Hayes? I know the of the one in Fair Oaks Mall and One in Winchester but if there's another one I'd like to check them out. :puffy:

As far as I recall, those are the only 2. The Fair Oaks one has been the scene of many purchases for me over the years
Edit: look at their estates on their site - WOW some nice stuff!

Oldtown Alexandria (across the river) has John B Crouch. I've heard good things, but never been myself.

Thank you one and all. I'm going to visit as many as I can. I'll be in town for what will probably be a very boring conference and I'll sneak out at the first chance.

Thanks again!

D.C. was great, beautiful weather, I love that city. I visited Draper's, all I can say is thanks!! I bought a tin of Grey Havens. I didn't have time to go to the other shops, maybe next time.

The only down side was the God awful, boring conference I was attending.

Thanks for the recomendations.
