Cvault Tobacco Storage

Hi all, newbie question here. Does anyone have any experience with Cvault containers for storing your pipe tobacco? The large size says it holds 56g so I figure good enough for a pouch. It also comes with a 62% Boveda pack which I think should do the trick.

Any help would be appreciated. I tried looking up info. on the net, but most info. refers to storing a totally different type of pipe weed. Lol.

Thanks my friend, only thing is that I don’t smoke a great deal. One pouch can last me a long time and I don’t want it to dry out too much. Very cold up here, and wife makes me smoke outside in the snow and only when kids aren’t around. I know, whipped. Lol.

And if I open two or three pouches to change it up, I’m in real trouble. Tobacco will be dust

let it dry out man. I think it's so much better that way. Doesn't mean you will but it's good to see that pipe tobacco isn't as fragile as people act like it is. I find very dry pipe tobacco easier to smoke and more flavorful and easier to pack.

They work for longer term storage? Just put the Boveda pack inside?

No need for hydration packs inside Mason jars.

The jars are air tight. No evaporation going to happen
