Finally got it, so I have to show off my new pipe rack made by an old friend, Mark Whitley. Mark is an artist and furniture maker from Smith's Grove, Kentucky, and does fantastic work. I can proudly say this is his first pipe rack, hopefully not his last. I'm hoping to be able to commission another rack from him in a few years. I highly recommend you guys to check out his work at mwhitley.com/. Seeing some of the pieces he has made kinda makes this look insignificant, but I like it all the same. The base is made of Walnut, and the back rest is made of Sassafras. He then cut out the opening for the humidor, and used leather on the top rest.

jpmcwjr, The humidor is actually an old "Apothecary" jar I found. I haven't put a stone in it yet, I was waiting until I got it back for that. But yes, it is a hexagonal jar, and it is only about 3 to 3.5 inches tall. I have some other humidors that are exactly like it, just larger, and were meant to be humidors. This one is a retro fit. I liked the shape and color, and thought "Why not". Glad you guys like it. Mark is a talented S.O.B.
