Cube Cut/Crumb Cut Tobacco

I ordered a few blends from Watch City Cigars since I dug WC Slices so much. I got Stubb's blend and Original Crumb Cut. I can't figure out what I'm messing up with this. I've been doing a sort of gravity fill with it. When I light it, it seems as if the bowl goes from full to 1/2 full in a matter of moments. I have a hard time keeping it lit, and the last time I smoked it, there was just a gigantic hardened chunk stuck inside the bowl that felt cemented in place. How do you pack this? I've tried this gravity fill way then the 3 pinches way.

I just stuff everything. A bit lighter pack for the bottom 1/3, quite firm after that. It's a feel thing.

For gravity fill I tap the bowl with my fingers or hand to settle the tobacco a bit and then add some more.

Skip to the 2:00 mark. Dry the tobacco out overnight prior to loading.
