Willie Nelson wrote a great song, but Patsy Cline brought it to life.
Willie Nelson wrote Crazy but he wasn't the first one to commercially record it. He had only made demos of it while trying to sell the song.

Patsy Cline didn't cover Crazy, she was the first one to record it.

For those of you who are ‘50’s aficionados or are old enough to remember, the Diamonds’ version of “Little Darlin’‘ “ beats the Gladiolas’ version. However, I can’t say the same for “Church Bells May Ring” or “Why do Fools Fall in Love,” which pale in comparison to the original versions by the Willows and Teenagers, respectively.
