Surprised no one has weighed in on this fine show, coming up in a few weeks now. It will be hard to beat last year's CORPS, with the epic Sutliff sendoff - R.I.P. I'll be having a table - needing to get the stash down from literally one ton.
We made reservations at the hotel and bought tickets for the show. We'll probably get there Thursday evening late so I can take Friday to recover from the trip. We're looking forward to it. See you there.
Will be there on Saturday, as I live 1.5 hours away, can't wait.
There is a 90% chance I will be in attendance. I’m supposed to be on call that weekend but it’s looking like a coworker is covering for me. If I make it it will be my first pipe show ever so that’s exciting
First one for me too. If gunshows taught me anything its to expect anything pipe/tobacco related and bring $$$$

There are several good YouTube videos on the Richmond show, but this one in 2021 by Old Hollywood Briar is my favorite because of its production quality and the slow paced video of all the pipes and tins for sale on the tables.
I remember the first show I went to in Richmond. Basil Sullivan was showing me around. We got into an elevator and I of course put my pipe in my pocket for the ride. Basil kept it in his mouth and even lit it in the elevator. We weren't alone either. I looked at him and asked, you can smoke in a elevator here? He just looked at me and said, this is Richmond son
I may have been at that show....two decades ago, maybe three? It was a good show, fun people. Rolando was just starting to show his pipes. Was this at the time when there was a shooter sniping from the trunk of a car? That part wasn't fun and we didn't run into it...but I do recall it being on my mind as my wife and I came into the city...I remember the first show I went to in Richmond. DC or Beltway sniper attacks 2002. That's what I was thinking of...
I'll be there in the am with some 16 year old FVF, not sure of a DC sniper.
