I think they were usually 5,000 tin releases.
With the current "situation" I am not sure how long these will last, honestly.

I was wondering how long they would last in comparison to other small batch releases as well. I went ahead and picked some up for the cellar in any case. If they're still available in a few weeks I may grab some more.

If I remember correctly the previous Carolina Red Flake drops usually took a few days at each online shop to sell out the past few releases. The last CRF batch was 8,000 tins I think off the top of my head. Could be a few days, could be a few weeks, depending on how everything going on in the world affects everyone's buying.

I managed to snag what I think were the last 5 tins at tobaccopipes.com for the 2019 about two weeks after they sold out on SmokingPipes. I was not planning on buying them but saw them and decided to see if they would ship. I think the small batch stuff usually sells out in one to two weeks max.

What I’m gathering from this thread is that this isn’t a must order especially for someone’s who is being thrifty with their tobacco purchases.

Also, I find it a bit annoying that people on the site (not this site, I mean smokingpipes) feel the need to leave reviews before obviously even getting the product.

Yeah, I fought the urge as well and for several hours I was ok but then it happened just put several into the cart and in the blink of an eye they were gone. Oh, well off to the house they go! I am hoping they are better than the xx dark flake, which I think need more age on them.
