I always wanted a full bent cob. MM doesn’t make such a deep bend. So, I take a Country Gentleman, cut off the shank, bore a 1/2” dia. hole at a 45 deg. angle on my lathe with a milling attachment for a new shank that I also turned on my lathe. This one is zebra wood. I then fit the standard stem w/filter, standard trim ring, then heat it with a heat gun to a graceful bend. I’ve made a couple and they smoke very nice.
