I know there are lots of intense storms that have changed routes due to flooding concerns. Also logistics with shipping can seem very odd if you go on a pack by package basis, but when you think of volume and dispersion it suddenly makes more sense.

SP always gets orders out quickly. However, lately USPS has trucked them all over without reason delaying arrival. My expected packager thus far has gotten to Kansas City, then on to Wichita and is now headed back to KC.🤨

I noticed that my orders had been routed by USPS as far west as Denver - and I live in Ohio. Please note how this order passed through Indianapolis twice before arriving in Cleveland. The weird routing seems to me to be a sign that USPS is unstable.

When it gets there it will probably have a Hobo stick with a red bandana slung across the box and some steam tramp stickers too😂
USPS is terrible here as well.

Funny you should say that, I was just going to say USPS has always been very reliable here in the Northeast but I have noticed it's taking 1/2 days longer recently on packages CONUS..

It’s gotten better here recently on a local level as they re-distributed routes/carriers and that has cleaned up the delays mostly.
However the main problem is the Regional Distribution Center here being fully automated . Richmond is actually ranked the worst in the country! Chicago isn’t doing any better based on this week’s tracking of an item.
I can get something from Italy to my door through DHL faster than an item from USPS 100 miles away.
To me that says a lot.

Ya I don't know what the Italian use but it's speedy. I had orders from Al Pascia beat the ones from SP.com. Crazy.

I had some interesting "detours" provided to me for tracking a UPS shipment this very week. I can't say for sure that the actual packages wandered around the country - but the tracking notifications indicated they did. Not too much of a delay though.
