Completely different blend of tobaccos, but there's no arguing with the deliciousness of Sasieni. My most transcendent smoke to date was a bowl of Sasieni on the patio, and I've been chasing that high ever since.Well either way, I think that this tin will be a "one and done" when finished. I just discovered Balkan Sasieni and it blows Sherlock away!
Thanks
Is this AI?Its not really an aromatic. The flavor/scent is so light. Actually, DRUM has a stronger scent to the smoke then the sherlock holmes does.
Honestly, I dont even understand WHY they put the topping stuff on this blend. It would be worth 60$ per pound bulk without it.
He's now popped on to the WLT forum where he's trying to peddle his "McClelland added vinegar to their products, everybody knows it" schtick. Not long for this place anymore, methinks. Or there, I'd bet.Is this AI?
Plumcake is considered an aro, but I don’t judge it by a nameThe term "aromatic" is very nuanced in the pipe tobacco world.
Most tobaccos are cased, which I dont consider an aromatic.
Once they add a top sause, its technically an aromatic.
Orlik Golden Slice, most MacBaren blends, and many all time favorites are "technically" aromatics.
The (current production) label specifically mentions the inclusion of burley, so it is at least a VaBur, topping notwithstanding.Sherlock Holmes is a virgina aro.
Strange. My tin says Virginia but it's from 15.The (current production) label specifically mentions the inclusion of burley, so it is at least a VaBur, topping notwithstanding.
