Comoy's Guildhall 291

Hi guys, I got this today and didn't see any unlocked threads to reply to. It's a Comoy's Guildhall 291. I don't know much about Comoy's, but from my research this is a first and not the second line with the 3 lines on the stem. Part of the reason I impulse bought it up, as the Guildhall seconds line is going for double what this was.

Damn pad is real, I got a refund finally for the gbd I backed out on and got this instead. Hope it's a nice smoker. It looks very clean.

"Guildhall" pipes, with the three metal bars stem logo is a 2nd line for Comoy's.
It's been my understanding that a Comoy's "Guildhall" with inlaid C stem logo is a first line grade, albeit a lower grade Comoy's.

I've owned a few, over the past 10 years.

Thank you, so it is indeed a Comoy's pile and not a Guildhall. That is what I meant in my original post but didn't word it good. I have seen the Guildhall line, and they have the 3 bars. Nice grain in your photo.
