It's not a weed pipe since you smoke tobacco in it. But I get his point because they are designed to take a metal screen and can be used as a "stealthy" non-tobacco pipe for those who so wish it. And Peterson is an Irish marque, and have the oldest continuously operating pipe factory in the world.

I have my new briar. I quite like the design and styling and it's a beautiful, smooth smoke. Doesn't even seem to get dirty! Rapidly becoming my favourite of the 3.

It's got Lubinski stamped on the stem and a Sphinx emblem carved into the stalk. When I bought it was labelled as some un pronouncable (for me) Asian name yet Lubinski sounds Eastern European to me and we know where the Sphinx comes from. Hope that wasn't confusing? Either way I like it very much indeed.

That's a weed pipe dude. But.... if you want to clean it up for future use follow these simple steps;

1. Throw in trash.
2. Buy a Peterson.
3. Enjoy!

Briar pipes were weed pipes at 1 point in time my friend and I still occasionally pack a briar with some green. But I've never packed tobacco in a metal or glass pipe. Just doesn't tickle my fancy, but to each there own. If someone wants to pack some dark fired Kentucky into a 6 foot bong and clear the whole thing, I would say good for you and keep it pushin lol
