We hosted a Christmas Eve party for some friends and family.
It was my first time making roast beast (smoked pork rack) and it was fantastic:


I pulled a few bottles from my cellar for the festivities.
For an aperitif we had Niepoort 1997 vintage port:

For dessert we had 2006 Chateau Guiraud:

Somewhere along the line I left my wife unsupervised and she decided we needed some Krug NV Grande Cuvee:

Finally I decided to cap the night with my favorite Armagnac, 1974 Chateau de Pomes Peberere:

My daughter destroyed the living room opening her presents but everyone had a great time. I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas.
