Cheap Lighter -We Shall See

I have many lighters of reputable name which I'll provide a comparison after I've used this one a bit.

Looks nice but is fairly light and just has a cheap feel, especially the finish. A Dupont "esque" ping when opened but not if opened slowly.

Before ado is in any way furthered, here it is:



Note the cheap adjustment tool and extra flints included.

A quick fill with butane and it lights and re-lights without issue:



A push button on the side changes it back and forth between soft flame and jet flame without having to relight it:

I have a “real” fake Du Pont from eBay a few years ago. The Tribute Lighters. They have held up amazingly well for the past 4 or 5 years. I really enjoy them. I believe they were $30. I know there’s some old threads and someone dubbed them the Faux Ponts.

I hope your results will be the same and you get enjoyment from it.

For $12.95 it seems like you got a decent lighter. I doubt it will grow old with you but hey, you're only out $12.95.
