Charatan's Make Shape 58

Not a pipe that I bought, but one of the nicest examples of Charatan's shape 58, the Newmarket, that I've ever seen!

I have one of these in a Ben Wade and I'm trying to use it and similar pipes to figure out whether these shape numbers are late Ben Wade numbers that Charatan adopted, or Charatan numbers given to Charatan's earliest runs of Wades.

That's a shape I'd love to have some day, very elegant.

That would be a good burner for some burleys that ship extra dry, like Five Brothers and Semois. The tall bowl has good capacity and slows down the burn a little. There are some GBD seconds at Iwan Ries that have tall bowls like that.
