This pipe really gave me trouble and it is still not where I would like it to be. I wanted to challenge myself, and I did. I will not buy any more pipes in this condition, it is just too frustrating!

I am not sure how "rare" a Rarity is, but I don't think they are uncommon at all. I have seen other examples that were sandblasted in spots, this one seems to be carved.

The hole in the stem.
I was going for invisible, but there are still traces of repair.

I use a product called Starbond, it is a medium thick, black cyanoacrylate.
I think the product George uses is probably a better choice for such repairs.

Nice work. I'd not have noticed the fixed hole.

Would that be called a quaint? Partially rusticated Barlings are called that, at least I thought the Bard said so.

Thank you Sir.

I think the Barling Quaints are much, much, more rare.
There is no shape number on the pipe, it is just marked Rarity. It is a Lane era Charatan.
