Chacom Booth at Trade Fair in Germany

Here are a few photos the French pipe maker Chacom posted on Instagram today of its booth at InterTabac show in Dortmund, Germany, the world's largest trade fair dedicated to tobacco products and accessories for smokers. I’m glad to see the company is going strong.

It is. The Chacom factory makes pipes for many brands.

Ropp is one. You also have the French pipe, and most of pipes branded "saint Claude".

I'd like to see those Chacom tobacco blends along with plenty of other European manufactured pipe tobaccos reach the parts of the European Union they now no longer ever reach.

Local based importers and wholesale suppliers say the continental European and Scandinavian manufactures won't supply and yet we see those same manufacturers products smuggled in as contraband pipe tobacco on the street everyday selling for a higher price than anything legally imported.

Governments don't have to ban smoking, pipe tobacco manufacturers are doing that for them
