Starting to Get Obsessed
I ran x-fine sandpaper around the briar because the cap was tight and I thought I would eventually break something. A slight but annoying leak stops midway througha bowl, and I'm assuming that's because the briar swells a little with moisture. (In the meantime I use the "oil" on my beard!) I can wet it and wait before lighting up, but is there something else I can do to correct it, will it eventually re-seat, or should I send it to Mark for repair?20240623_171205.jpg

Leakage is what led to the Roundhead victory at Marston Moor. The Cavaliers were mired in a sticky morass of their own creation and hapless victims of the more continent and nimble soldiers of the Parliamentarian and Covenanter armies.
