I see there are a few different “animal” pipes in series related to yours, very interesting - once again my PAD is tingling.

The “goose” part does indeed seem apropos.
I was on the fence with some of his other Hunter pipes, but the goose was a done deal.
My only complaint about nording is that not one of the three i own passes a cleaner easily. But that doesn't bother me too much, i can usually get them through without disassembling. I'd be interested to see if his more traditional tenon/mortise assemblies have the same problem

I dunno, I think I may just take this 350 and never go back.
I can live without the casino, and I feel like the next time I go I'll pay them back every penny with interest!
That's right. You can beat math in the short term, but never the long. Take your money and run!

Not that there is anything wrong with going to the casino if you feel like you get enough entertainment value for your buck.

That’s amazing! Your Mom is a very talented painter! I love the snowflake speckles and the detail in the feathers is incredibly well done! I dabble with art as a hobby myself (nothing like your mom though!) Going to a Bob Ross painting party tomorrow as a matter of fact! The last one produced these (mine is top right):

I mostly do mandalas though, all drawn free hand with no measurements (it’s therapeutic as hell):

I had that pipe in my favorites list until it sold, I think it is one of his best in the Hunter line. Glad to see it went to someone who would appreciate it for its unique "gooseness."

My wife gave me the Nording zebra hunting pipe and it is a great looker and smoker with a striped carved finish. Nothing from Nording hasn't smoked well for me. I don't do casinos because I feel I know who paid for all the snappy surroundings, but it is also my Scottish blood. Congrats on taking the win for the win.

That's a fine painting of the Canada geese, balanced and composed so well so it makes the geese look ready to move forward. Some of my favorite birds are Laysan albatross. I'm wanting to frame a calendar art photograph of a pair. Your mom could do a wonderful job with those. I hope Midway Island won't be submerged in rising seas, where the albatross nest and raise their chicks.
