Got a new pipe with a stinger in it, but the thing seems to be cemented in there. Haven't smoked it yet, but with that immovable object, it just looks like it will be a bottleneck of muck that I won't be able to properly clean. Any ideas?

Guys I posted a pic. It is not great quality as I have had to take the pic with my laptop (phone got stolen the other day, along with a pipe). It's a Comoy. A big old clunky bus of a pipe. Paid £30 for it, do you guys think I got ripped off?

That price seems fine to me.

The pipe cleaner should clean out the airway, and disassembled, you can wipe off the outside of the stinger and swab out the mortise.

I now never use alcohol for cleaning, unless it's an estate pipe that is ghosted. Then I try wet coffee grounds left in chamber till it dries. If no joy, then salt and alcohol, followed by a hot water flush.
