OK I'm four hours in being an online detective and I've found absolutely 0 info on this mysterious Savinelli pipe, even though I have the brand, the model name and the shape number... I mean I can't even find anything similar being sold on ebay or anywhere else... Also the bowl inner dimension are a bit out of the ordinary for Savinelli in my opinion - huge deep chamber(25mm diameter, 46mm deep) in a very compact form with relatively thin walls. Any kind of info would be appreciated.IMG_2579.jpegIMG_2583.jpegIMG_2581.jpegIMG_2584.jpegIMG_2580.jpegIMG_2582.jpeg

Every brand had their leather pipes in the 70s and 80s. Savinelli had at least two lines like that, the Cricket and the Grand Prix.

This is the first brown Albatross I have seen—white seems to be the most common colour for the leather wrap on the Albatross line. Those chamber dimensions are not typical of the 505 shape—it wouldn’t surprise me if @daveinlax was correct about the Meerschaum lining—I could see the white sepiolite lining being a reason Savinelli would opt for the brown leather outer wrap for visual contrast.
