Can I Use the Savinelli Filters in Other Pipes?

The Savinelli balsa wood filters are very malleable they pretty much fit my other non-filter pipes pretty well with a little squeezing is there any reason not to use these filters in other non-filter pipes?

Sticking any porous material in a 9mm filter slot will help reduce gurgle. Curled bits of pipecleaner are an effective and affordable solution.

I use the savinelli balsa wood filters in my Grabow. I'm apparently a wet smoker, and it helps with that.

I use them in cobs and in a MacQueen churchwarden.

The 6mm and 9mm filters will fit in any other pipe that takes that size filter. I use the 6mm balsa wood filter in MM cobs all the time.

The Sav adaptor to make it non-filter also works in the Dr. Grabow pipes.

I was just thinking about these and how they might be squeezing into non filter pipes too... hmm

My understanding they last longer than going with the Savinelli charcoal filters, which I read are suppose to be good for only one bowl? Hmm
