I haven’t been here all that long myself, and most members are more than willing to help an enthusiastic noob. I know from experience.
I highly recommend you peruse the Basic and Beginners section, and make good use of the search feature top right.
It seems the more “unique” your question, the more response you get, and the oldsters won’t get bored repeating themselves.
Having said that, most oldsters love being helpful. Enjoy and welcome.

This is a great forum and the members are top notch. I have smoked pipes since I was 16 and I am always learning new things from the fine folks here and taking notes to continue to refine my piping techniques.
